About the presenter: Recipient of the Russian State Highest Award for contribution in the fields of Language, Literature and Cultural Studies, Prof. Debal Dasgupta is currently a member of India's National Assessment and Accreditation Council and the Principal Investigator and Coordinator of India's EPG-PATHSHALA, the online portal of MA, pen to the entire world. He has an MA and PhD in Russian Philology from the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Dr. Dasgupta is a topper at BA and MA and a national scholar, having received National Merit Scholarship and Junior / Senior research fellowships of the Indian Council for Social Sciences Research. He retired from the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, India after teaching and research for 44 years, and he, currently, is also the President of the Indian Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature. Prof. Dasgupta, apart from his academic pursuits, is a director of plays with 48 full length plays staged in different parts of India and Moscow and is a player of the Sitar, a disciple of Ustad Dhyanesh Khan, son of the legendary Ustad Allauddin Khan of the MYHAR GHARANA.

He has contributed 480 hours of lectures online on the Government of India's online portal for MA Studies.
