Parallel to her studies at Jahangirnagar University, Samirah Tabassum was working as a freelance interpreter for U.S Embassy, Canadian High Commission, UNICEF, FAO, CARE US along with few other NGOs. Right after postgraduation, she joined as a Lecturer at the Department of English and Modern Languages, International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT), Dhaka. She currently teaches in the BA program at the Department of English and Humanities, University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) and believes in contributing to its focus on education, research along with leading the campus activities.
