The Department of English and Humanities organized an online seminar on September 26, 2020 where Dr. Ahmar Mahboob gave a talk on alternative pedagogy, titled, “Regaining Balance: Learning to Make Sense,” questioning the Western paradigm of teaching and learning, particularly the way we study language and communities.
Dr. Mahboob is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Sydney, Australia.
A large audience comprising students and faculty members of ULAB and other universities attended the session. The talk ended with a lively discussion and numerous questions to Dr. Mahboob.
