The aim of the session was to prepare the graduating students of the BA and MA programs of Fall 2024 on what to expect as they begin to determine their career options. The workshop was led by Assistant Professor Nadia Rahman of DEH, ULAB.

She then asked the students to participate in activities that involved them making a list of their dream jobs as well as checking whether their CV is perfect. She also advised the students on how to be professional in every aspect and also how to play to their strengths. Furthermore, Ms. Rahman provided helpful tips as to what to do while searching for one’s dream job.

The session included tips on how to locate a suitable industry, explore ways to find a way in, and conduct background research about the industry’s required skills. Tips on how to ace interviews were also provided during the workshop including etiquette, use of language, dressing, and presentation styles.
