ULAB Faculty Member Nusrat Tajkia Participates in Bangladesh-China Young Leaders Program
Nusrat Tajkia was invited to China as part of a delegation of Young Leaders from Bangladesh to China, to attend a 10-days long training program. The training program was organised by Shanghai Institutes for International Studies and Academy of Contemporary China and World Studies. This trip was held between 21-30 June 2026, covering three cities in China: Beijing, Kunming and Shanghai. The delegation had 22 members which included university teachers and students, journalists, researchers and government officials. The trip included roundtables and seminars on issues related to China-Bangladesh relations. It was an information exchange program on cultural and economical development. So far ULAB has hosted multiple seminars and events with Chinese scholars and institutions with the intention of creating a space for cultural and academic exchange. This particular trip is part of that exchange.
