MA Students’ Defense

On 3 September 2016, the first thesis students of the MA in English (Literature and Cultural Studies) program defended their dissertations. The defense took place in A205 from 11 am with Prof. Kashinath Roy, Dean of Arts, Eastern University, as the External Examiner. Internal supervisors, Prof. Golam Sarwar Chowdhury and Sarker Hasan Al Zayed were also present to examine their supervisees.
A milestone in the short history of the MA in English program at ULAB, the event was also attended by Prof. Kaiser Haq, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, ULAB, Prof. Shamsad Mortuza, Head of Department, Arifa Ghani Rahman, MA Coordinator, and other faculty members.
